Ganesh Chathurthi and Ramzan were celebrated on the same day at our Center. Clay and paper Ganeshas were made by the children. These were displayed for the puja and rituals. The children helped to decorate the Center with flowers and rangoli designs. They made a special sweet called modakam which is prepared in South India for this festival. Finally, we sang Bhajans praising Lord Ganesha.
