Celebrating Lord Krishna's birthday is always a simple and nice experience. Lord Krishna was known to be a naughty little child always stealing makhan/Vennai (white butter) since he loved eating it. Therefore, every year at Ekadaksha makhan is fed to our dearest Lord.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says that everything happens for a cause or good reason. He also mentions that we are all children of God, the Creator. On this day we do a puja for the Lord. He is decorated with garlands and artwork done by the children. Makhan is fed to the Lord after which an aarti is performed and bhajans are sung in praise of Beloved Krishna.
