Friendship day- A day to celebrate the bond of friendship, a day to celebrate with friends, a day when we know that we do have friends.
Friendship day at Ekadaksha was a day of joy and fun. We began the celebrations with the famous song from 'Barney and friends', "The more we get together, the happier we'll be...'cos your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends...The more we get together, the happier we'll be..." The children tied friendship bands for eachother and had group friendship hugs:-)
The teachers chose two children, who then danced with eachother. And then, when Aunty blew bubbles, all of them looked, laughed, jumped and tried to burst the bubbles. Click here to see the bond of friendship.
Two of our remedial children were taken for an outing to celebrate their friendship. They went to Orchard - A little hangout, ate their favourite food, chatted and had fun. Click here to see "The friendship day outing".
