Ekadaksha Learning Center was lit up with diyas (lamps) on the occasion of Diwali - The festival of lights. The teachers explained about the festival and showed pictures to the children. With the help of the teachers, children lit diyas and prayed to Goddess Lakshmi.
A game based on Diwali was played. Every child who got out in the game could burst a balloon instead of crackers. Finally, the children's hands were decorated with different designs of mehendi (henna). Click here to see photos of Diwali celebrations 2012.
