I have had the privilege of holding art workshops for the parents and teachers of Ekadaksha. Each time I have been humbled by the involvement of the founders in the well-being of the parents and teachers. Every workshop I have held has been a learning experience for me. Gratitude to Ekadaksha for all that you do.

One Institution, among the many organisations I have come across in my life, that stands apart is Ekadaksha Learning Center on account of the nobility of its objectives. This institution which has been rendering yeomen service in the field of education was established on 4th March 2010 by four young dynamic women Ms.Bharathi, Ms.Archana, MS.Bindu and Ms.Kanaka, with a laudable p***on to provide special education to children with special needs. Their dedication and selfless service has enabled the institution to successfully navigate through, with excellence, a decade of sustenance empowering several such children.
Ekadaksha methodically works on to instil confidence, skills and positive attitude in the special children so that they are able to explore what suits their individuality; express their thoughts and needs in a cogent and orderly manner and above all, learn to experience independence as they grow as an adult physically, emotionally and intellectually. The well-structured coaching and consistent training imparted are such that the children are able to gradually get rid of the negative thoughts and fear which in turn moderates their behaviour in tune with the expectations of the societal environment. The innovative methods systematically adopted by Ekadaksha ensure that the children get infused, in a calibrated manner, with discipline in their behaviour and imbibe a conducive culture for peaceful living.
After my visits to Ekadaksha Learning Center during the past five years, I am able to appreciate the founders and teachers for constantly creating in the minds of the children the urge and zeal to move towards accomplishment of their aspirations coupled with the keenness to evolve as responsible human beings. Further, when I visited the Ekadaksha Exhibition on 9th February and three weeks later participated in the Annual Day Celebrations on 29th February, 2020, I could not only sense the immense gratitude displayed by the parents to Ekadaksha for the invaluable services but I could also feel the pride in them about the creativity and transformation achieved by their children.
Ekadaksha has been effectively partnering with parents, social activists and other professionals to create awareness, in the society in general and the respective households of the special children in particular, about being empathetic to the special needs of such children and to accept them as they are so that their life blossoms smoothly transcending the challenges they encounter in the journey of their life.
I commend the Trustees and Founders for the impeccable integrity and benevolent disposition with which the vision and mission of this Institution are being pursued and carried out. May the endeavours of Ekadaksha Learning Center expand to touch as many lives as possible in the decades to follow and thereby make this world a better place to live for the special children and their kith and kin.
Warm regards,

I would like to thank you for inviting me over to do workshop for students , teachers and even parents. I truly enjoyed the experience. What I admired the most is the receptivity that i saw in everyone including the parents whether it was about trying something new or challenging oneself. I think that is also reflected in the work that you as management and teaching team are doing. As this is an extraordinary space to be in working with special children i admire the joy and commitment you bring along to the space and people around.I also admire your effort to bring this sense of joy to the parents who otherwise might not get a chance to let themselves be free.

Dear Bharathi, Bindu, KAnaka and Archana
First gratitude for inviting me over for The Ekadaksha Exhibition. Most grateful.
Humbled by what I saw.
To dedicate yourselves to a caring process that will scare most people is fully deserving of great and deep respect.
The garland is in the puja room as is the cork 'kolam'. The cards have already despatched good wishes to many people. The candles have lit my garden. The butterfly magnet sits on my fridge to remind us that even a humble larva can morph into a beautiful butterfly.
Thanks so much again for having me over. It was my previlege. And with the promise that for Navratri this year, the tamboolam bags will be sourced from the Ekadaksha children..
Best wishes always
Venkatesh
