For the parents
Parents form an integral part of any child's life. Any family which has been blessed with a child with special needs experiences a lot of ups and downs. The child spends most of his/her time with parents and siblings. Therefore, working hand in hand with parents and other professionals who are working with the child is very important. Tackling various issues in a classroom alone will not help the child.
Thus, all knowledge of strategies and methodologies on how to work with the child must be passed on to the parent. The parent in turn needs to follow a consistent pattern at home. This will make a huge difference to the child as well as the family.
