Children of Ekadaksha had their sports day practice and a fun football event on 29th January 2026 at Wesley turf and fitness club,Royapettah.

The day began with a March past practice followed by drills.They are practising three drills - free hand drill,hoop drill and dupatta drill regularly during the sports session.A rehearsal of these drills were done and they did it so beautifully,all set to perform on the sports day that is going to happen shortly.Click here to see few pictures of the drill and march past.

After the sports day practice,it was time for a fun football match.

Few friends and well wishers of Ekadaksha joined us to be a part of the fun football match.

Children of each house got the opportunity to interact and play with new people.Each house had nearly 3-4 people,few of them already known to children of ekadaksha and few of them were new faces.To get a feel of ease,each house sat in a circle and everyone got introduced to each other. They had few chill conversations to develop a rapport.Non-verbal children used their Avaz app to tell about themselves to the group.After they got along well,they had their practice session house wise.The children kicked the ball to each other towards the goal with the help and encouragement of their new friends. 

After practice session,they were all set to play the match.In the match played between Green house Vs Yellow house,Green house won the match.In the match between Blue and Red house,Blue house won.Finals was played between Green and Blue houses. The Blue house were the winners of the football tournament.

It is through moments like this,we realise how beautifully inclusion can happen in a fun manner.Our children were happy mingling with their new friends casually and the friends too had a lovely time with our children.
